I am not really seeing much wind potential, maybe gusts into the 40s...nothing out of the ordinary in fall

In such a quiet pattern recently, winds over 40 mph qualify for wind potential.;) It looks like the subtropical low dumbbells back into the Maritimes

as a deep low forms near the NE or MA with strong CAA. Hard to specify anything more outside the 120 hr forecast window for storms.

0z Euro was most bullish on the high wind potential to our SW but we'll see how it goes.

Up to .91 now. A welcome sight. Noticed some coastal flooding this morning as I was driving to work through the Rockaways. Water was coming up through some of the sewer grates in the usual areas and causing the roads to be under 6-12 inches of water. Good thing this storm wasn't any stronger. NWS extended the coastal flood advisory to 11am. Was originally to 9am.
