Juliancolton
Tallied 1.5" before the changeover to sleet in the past few minutes. I'm shocked, never expected more than a few wet flakes. I only have about 550' of elevation.
Professional Lurker
Dual pol out of ALY looks like the changeover has started a decent push from SW to NE. Does it slow down at all? Only a few mangled flakes so far here. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk
CoastalWx
Nice event so far. About what I expected. Hopefully ORH sees flakes. Darn dry air is allowing temps to slowly tickle up without the benefit of wetbulbing.

Mr. Windcredible!
East Hartford...decent sized flakes...I'm impressed. Doing it's best to make car tops slushy...starting to coat mulchy areas and shrubs. Flakes to the shoreline too...wife reporting some in New London. WinterWolf
Nice little event indeed! Grass is coated nicely, and so are all trees and car tops and non paved surfaces...been Moderate here non stop for 2 hours. Impressive for October and being 85 degrees a week ago. Only expected a few flakes myself if that. So overachiever here for sure.
Sugarloaf1989
Steady light snow here in Enfield with small snowflakes. It's odd seeing it snow with some trees here that are still 100% green.

Clouds overnight axed radiational cooling, then the sun came out all morning - about the worst sequence possible for scoring early snow. Except for the far north, temps in Maine are mid 40s with dews mostly 30-35. Not much wetbulb room there. Unless there's much cooler/drier air aloft, I don't think foothills folks much below 1,000' see anything beyond catpaws, if that. On the other hand, the Sandy River is sinking rapidly back toward the 25th percentile as the Fri-Sat deluge hisses its way through the dry dry soil, so another substantial rain event is very welcome. powderfreak
Wish it would come in earlier...up to 34F at 1500ft and 39F at MVL. Will likely wet bulb to freezing up here and like 35F wet snow in the valley but doubt it holds long.
