Only saw accum snow once in Oct during my time there (1950-71), had 0.7" in 1962. We have had it numerous times since than , biggest was 10 inches a few years ago (I believe 6 years ago)that stayed around past Halloween and canceled Halloween until the following week due to trees down all over the place

Been snowing here for 4-5 hours, but warm temps and rates and have kept accum down--might have .25-.50" just eyeballing the board.

powderfreak
Snowing nice at 1500ft with a half inch on the car roof as I left. Down at 750ft it's the definition of "white rain" and cat paws on the windshield.
alex
Still nothing here aside from an occasional stray flake. Temp is decreasing though - now 37.

Sounds similar to here though in elevations. There's quite a change in the 1200ft range from snow that's actually sticking and down here at home where it's white rain that looks about 100 feet away from being pure rain. Every once in a while a burst of big flakes comes down but I'm literally at that line where it's half snow half rain.
