Phone just went off here too, EAS on the TV and Radio, wasted no time in getting that info out. Looks pretty knarly on the radar. I'm cooped up in the dispatch center of the security company I work for.

Looks looks like the FFW stop just south of where I am in Augusta. Looking out the hotel window, it's coming down buckets. Tamarack's river guage looks like it will be moving up.

Pissed I didn't add thunder to the grids earlier today. Signal was there, but wx grids were starting to get ugly. 

One thing was for sure, the heavy rain signal was maxed around here between 00 and 06z. A little surprised to see the widespread flash flooding though. But sometimes drought leads to more runoff than normal.

2-day total in the Stratus is over 1"...still some -RA so I'm putting off bronging it in to measure. I only had 0.83" in the tipper. So you guys with big totals in your Davis stations may see much higher totals in your manual gauges.

I guess Boston had some issues last night. Lots of flooding and power outages in the city from what I heard.
