NavarreDon
Remember folks don't get caught up in model runs. I'm willing to bet once this becomes a nowcast the radar is going to blossom more than anticipated based on climo. 6" will be the norm. Some are going to get less but a few are going to get more. HurricaneTracker
Is this the 00Z nam?Yep. The entire state wins! Not ready to go all the way yet. We need agreement from GFS, RGEM, and Euro. Is that too much to ask? lol

buncombe
Hi all, NAM is exciting but really hard to go against the Euro. Crazy differences this close. All the players are on the field though. This is a classic southern app snow track which gives me hope.

I'm very leery because just about every other model shows something different. I'm still thinking 1 to 3 inch range.

AirNelson39
The NAM is picking up on a finger of precip extending out ahead of the main event. We need to keep an eye on this. calculus1
Lol I get the feeling we are in the minority for a NW track.I'm with you guys! Come on NW trend! I refuse to believe it yet, though. I'm still nervous whether we even get 2 inches here in Hickory. I really want the classic coastal Miller A track, but that has been in the cards up to this point.Sent from my 6045O using Tapatalk

FlatLander48
Not to say the NAM is the gospel, but if one or more of the other models were to pick up the storm being more amped as the NAM depicted, not only would the track be plausible, it would be likely...Stronger storms goes farther North, we all know this. Met1985
Yeah seems like we are starting to maybe, maybe see some significant strengthening of this storm. That would pull if further north. The stronger the storm the better. We really need the GFS to trend back to more NW and the euro to jump on board.
