pbrussell
Well, unless there is another round of storm initiation that takes place in front of what's going on in central ks, I'm not going to be able to make the show. I think I'm going to stand pat but probably won't be chasing after all.

Picture he posted on DBM. yup...it was sweet i ended up seeing 3 tornadoes, never left my county, and spent 1:45 on the road. i was up by leonardville at first, then down by riley. T1: that occluded, then this guy came along here are some filtered photos to enhance the contrast on tornado 2 as it was maxing out caught one more on the way out of riley...briefly dropped right after i snapped this...i was pretty concerned and leaving at that point... Chinook
pedestrian storm chaser convergence? Great job on getting some good pics of a tornado! You said you saw 3 tornadoes, so you really kind of lucked out, as long as you didn't punch through the hail or get hit by a tornado.

Jonbo
Yesterday was a "bust" in terms of tornadic potential when I decided to go sit in Nebraska City and see how things unfolded. Initiation was too late but I did manage to get some great cloud pictures (granted, I'm just using my Galaxy Note 5 until finances improve) and just the experience of watching the sky unfold finally was enough to not be a bust for me. Especially since it may be the last one of the season up here. I went east across the river and waited at truck stop in case the developing complex decided to do something. Never went severe (had some pea size hail briefly) but it developed a nice large shelf cloud pretty fast as it approached me. (not sure if images are loading properly, keeps showing broken image thumbnail on mobile)
