I am not buying into anything as far as a storm and significant rainfall goes for at least a couple of more days. We have seen things trend drier as we move closer to an event. Rtd208
I would think if the WAR is still in control then the Euro Op will probably come back west, have to see what the ensembles say.

CoastalWx
Tossing euro op and going ensemble. Pattern is good for rain. The models are struggling with that semi tropical feature coming up the coast.

Made a step to the gfs with that weird first low. The overall look is a deep eastern trough which is usually good for some rain.

Euro has zero rain through the next 10 days for most of New Jersey. Very little rain from Virginia up to Conn.

I agree, honestly I think we (Mid Atlantic & New England) are in for a pretty substantial rain event late next week into next weekend. I am hoping it will be the one that breaks the mold so to speak and get us back into a much more active pattern the rest of the fall and into the winter months. Some great hits but its the trend we watch.

Just looking at the pattern in general. I see both how it may not mean much rain or could be a soaker.

Fun stuff with the Euro op with nada, and about a third of the ensembles with over an inch (for ORH, right we've moved on to ORH this time of year?).
