We look to be BN through Halloween,  then start out AN the 1st 5 to 10 days of November. 

By day 15 ridging begins to retrograde into the upper latitudes as the trough develops underneath in the east. 

Expect the source region to change between  days 15 to 20 as the PNA spikes.

Our air originates out of the upper regions of Canada and funnels into the  trough that develops on the EC.

-AO -EPO+PNA takes hold early on .

Anyhoo I was surprised I got up to 65 today.

Temps stayed in the 40's for pretty much the entire sub forum. It's not my fault you choose to ignore good weather information. How did that 55 work out by lee Goldberg?

* LOCATIONS...MUCH OF EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA, PORTIONS OF NEW JERSEY
  INTO PARTS OF BOTH NORTHEAST MARYLAND AND FAR NORTHERN DELAWARE.
  THIS FREEZE WATCH DOES NOT INCLUDE THE URBAN CENTERS NEAR
  PHILADELPHIA.

* TEMPERATURES...LOWS ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE WITHIN SEVERAL DEGREES
  OF 30 EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING OVER THE COUNTRYSIDE. FROST OR
  FREEZING TEMPERATURES ARE FORECAST WITHIN THE WATCH AREA.

* TIMING...COLDEST TEMPERATURES SHOULD OCCUR BETWEEN 6 AM AND 730
  AM WEDNESDAY, WITH FROST OR FREEZING TEMPERATURES POSSIBLY
  BEGINNING AS EARLY AS MIDNIGHT IN THE NORMALLY COLDER SHELTERED

The forecast low in the upper 30's tomorrow morning for NYC looks close to post 2000 climo for Oct mins.

Only recent outlier was that 33 low and record Oct snowstorm in 2011.
