The eyewall is already almost on shore. It will have to hook NE fast to save it impacting Charleston. I'm also wondering if it'll be downgraded to Cat 1 soon-it already has the degraded "half-a-cane" look on radar with the south side destroyed by dry air, and over time the appearance continues to get more ragged. Not with observations like this.

Amped
Either the eye is expanding or it took a big wobble west. Either way going to have to turn sharp and soon for the eyewall to stay off shore.
jm1220
The eyewall is just about to the beaches now around Beaufort and Hilton Head Island. Those areas about to get crushed, up to Charleston in a few hours. And still no hint of a turn to even NNE.

Roger Smith
Looks like he's trying to keep moving north-northeast and tag along with the feeble remnants of the front. Evidently the models are confused, it's like a Donald Trump marriage, nobody knows what's going on, but something is.
Chinook
Buoy: Fripp Nearshore (in the eyewall) now 45mph(38.9kt) gust to 65mph (56.3kt)- it is getting closer to hurricane strength, but not quite there

Chinook
some interesting curling going on. - some sort of thing inside the eyewall. I am still wondering if this will keep sliding NE or finally make landfall and bring 90mph winds to land stations soon.
Shawn
This slight tip East it made was intriguing.. but now it looks to be heading more towards the coast/even West. Chinook
Yes, Fripp Nearshore Buoy had a temp of 185F and an unrealistic pressure fall over 2" of mercury in one hour. So the pressure might not be measured correctly in the near future. Thermometer and/or electronics connected to the themometer are obviously having problems.
