There's over 100 kts. of rotation on the couplet associated with the latest TOR in Carteret County. Thankfully it's over farmland at the moment.

Thats a nasty one, looks like it went just west of Sea Level and Atlantic and is over Long Bay and Piney Island and there isnt anything there but marsh and it probably cant last long enough to make it Pamlico Co....

At least it continues to move north and out of here. NJ could have some big problems with a stalled storm.

the center really has picked up speed now, will shut the rain off pretty quick.....the wind though is better than I thought it would be, when the rain lets up it picks up and then when a heavy squall comes though it picks up...might even be hitting 40-45 mph in gust....

just checked the rain gauge and its got 3.55" in it...seems low to me....that plus the 2.5" I got last night puts me at 6" in the last 30 hrs though...this would suggest we had 11.15" if I am reading it right....and honestly those hourly numbers look pretty legit based on how hard its been raining this afternoon and evening...still I think 11" is to much...6-8" feels more likely....this includes the thunderstorms we got last night around 5-6

Winds really up now, gusting 40-50 mph constantly.....way better than I expected on the wind side of things, rain all but stopped but I hear trees ( or at least big limbs) breaking....my neighbors must think I am a madman standing in the road at 1 am holding a Kestrel above my head lol....highest on it is 43....

Duck reporting sustained winds in the mid to upper 60's with gust to 80 at this station but it hasnt updated in 45 mins

https://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=pws:MDUKN7

I had 4.5" in my gauge this morning but I bet I had closer to 6-7"... for hrs last night it was raining hard and sideways and that was after I had checked and had almost 4" ....that in addition to the 2.5" I had Thur evening in the thunderstorms then....

We ended up with 4.20" from Hermine. Lowest pressure was 29.45". Not sure about the winds but I see no branches down anywhere in the neighborhood so I doubt we got much above 40mph. Rather pleasant out right now if not a bit windy. Currently sitting at 70/69. Winds in the 15-25mph range with occasional gusts up to 30.
