EastCoast NPZ
Looks like everything has moved east of me now. Wife reports .60" in the rain gage. Definitely not a drought-buster, but it'll help bring some things back to life.

There definitely seems to be a tropical connection over here. Just hit 2" and still going. Wow. That'll end the drought there.
Stormpc
.48 and counting. Looks like a good soaker thru early afternoon. Interested to see if this clears out quickly to the east or if it hangs around the 95 corridor.

smokeybandit
Watching this rain come through and fizzle out once it gets to the metro areas is practice for the winter.

PrinceFrederickWx
Rain gauge got messed up overnight during round one so I used nearby Cocorahs estimate of 1.44" which ended at 7am. From 7am onwards my gauge is up and running again, we've had an additional 1.72", so 3.16" total so far since midnight. Its been nonstop heavy rain since about 8:30AM. NinjaWarrior2
12z GFS manages a super cold shot Day 12, lows Mid to Upper 30s, 850s below 0 for ~6-12hrs. Unlikely but it's the coldest LR run I have seen. (Day 10-14). Recently the coldest portions of the GFS runs for us have been low to mid 40s. BlizzardNole
0.10 so not a total whiff but this does nothing to help. Ground is hard as a rock and I need to water the flower beds again. Thought I'd get one watering cycle off but nope.

CHO got 0.58" with many reporting stations around here getting between 0.5-0.75". Hardly a drought buster around here. The Valley had double what we had on the eastern side of the Blue Ridge. Bob Chill
Plenty of time to work out surface temps and the other small problem that there is no precip during this panel.

dailylurker
Sounds like I got lucky to be on the wet side today. I've got about 1.30" for the day. .90" of that fell early this morning when it poured for 20 minutes. It's been raining lightly, sometimes moderately all day. It's over for now. CAPE
4.65" so far today. Looks like its pretty much over for now. Maybe another 1/2" tonight into tomorrow. Rain shield destroyed finally. "Drought" busted. Not sure we were officially in one, but a month with less than a tenth of an inch is a drought to me.
