Dan
Idiot neighbor diagonally across the street from our house, decided today was going to be the day he was going to burn his brush. My wife said there was lots of smoke (which probably means he was burning leaves) and called the fire department as it was spreading. Sometimes people just don't think. And freeze during the Titans game six weeks later? Maybe my favorite game I've been too, just because the conditions were so raw and the crowd was only the most hardy. Though that October snow game against Arizona didn't suck either.

The people are very friendly and the scenery is breathtaking. Reminds me of a colder Hawaii with all the volcanoes, waterfalls and the terrain. The night life was also great in Reykjavik but that was the only place there was any on the itinerary I planned which was fine. To go skimobiling in July on a glacier was one of the coolest things I've ever done. Then WTF's the point?! I think it would be cool to do an aurora chase in Iceland (or Scandinavia) some day. What was the reason for the outage? If it were AWOS that could point to a FAA issue. They don't exactly have techs ready to go on maintenance trips like we do. Since it's not, I would say that kind of outage is more likely a cut cable somewhere. It's pretty unusual that we can get and fix a part in a few days, let alone two weeks.
