Radarchive
I created a website where you can save radar images of snow, sleet, freezing rain, rain, or hail. http://radarchive.neocities.org

If you didn't want to archive every single data point, you could always focus on significant events. That would require less space. Just a thought. Kmlwx
The other option is to pull radar data from the NCDC radar archivehttp://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/nexradinv/ Obviously, though you'd have to have a way to view the data (those with GR products would have no problem). But the benefit is you get not only reflectivity but velocity and all the radar products. Yet another option could be to pull the really long 240 frame loops or however long they are from the COD Nexrad page on a set or daily schedule. You can even save those as GIFs for easy storage. I know I have a few from the COD site of major snow events.
