cyclone77
Sat pics from this morning. Circulation still a bit outside of the deeper convection.
downeastnc
Shear should keep it that way too, thats why NHC keep it weak but the MLC is pretty stout and the water is warm so I think maybe we see more than a 40mph TS .....HH almost to it now should see them call it Hermine after they get that info back...12Z GFS bring it right to the coast then turns it NE ....CMC also now brings TD 8 ashore over the sounds so both of those models shifted west with TD 8.... wxeyeNH
Just as the NHC upgrades it to a depression, shear exposes the LLC. Almost totally detached mid afternoon. Unless more can develop over the center I would think a slow weakening trend could commence.

metagraphica
Seems the shear has eased a bit. The llc is tucked under the convection now. It certainly looks better than TD09.
downeastnc
You can see the center well on the long range loop here https://www.wunderground.com/weather-radar/united-states/nc/morehead-city/mhx/?region=clt
yotaman
Really good spin to it on radar. Might even be a TS by now.

NJwx85
Is it just me or does it look like TD 8 is actually moving South? http://radar.weather.gov/radar.php?product=NCR&rid=MHX&loop=yes
