Yeah this was great, we probably got close to 2" here overnight. Metro received around 1.5" so far since midnight.

The lower east side between downtown and Grosse Pointe picked up 3-4 inches per radar estimates.

DTX issued a flood watch for possibly a repeat performance tonight.

Honestly looking at the radar plus seeing our temp and dew points higher today, I wonder if we don't exceed last night. So far for the day we are at 2.64", we very well could make a run at the one day total at this rate.

Here in London we've barely had any rain and it's horribly disappointing. Things are starting to pick up on radar so we could get a decent amount overnight, but in the last couple days everything has missed us.

This was in the "out of the past" column in the local paper yesterday. Must have been quite chilly here in the sub-form!

September in Shelby County was near normal in the matter of precipitation but nearly five degrees cooler than average. David Fette reported today. Fette, the area observer for U.S. Cooperative Weather Bureau Station said the heat shortage was 4 degrees in comparison with the same month in 1965 and 5 degrees below the long time average recorded in Sidney.
