Cfa
Picked up 0.29" with the downpour, which is half of my rainfall total for last month. Not bad, but nowhere near enough. The rain felt very cold, and the temperature plummeted to 69 which is now my low for the day.

Michael05192016
Looking like major heat wave for 3-4 days after Hermine's junk exits. 92-98 looks likely with major heat signal following. Might be the major headliner for here more than TC.
winterwarlock
whats the timing and particulars for the heatwave next week...is it lasting into Saturday, going to the Rutgers opening home football game and temps in the 90s would make for some toasty tailgating although I would expect some the coeds will be going topless if we top

Looks like 2 -3 more 90s for most places maybe 4 in the warmer spots. A bit out there but warm look into the week of the 12th too.

winterwarlock
Sunny and beautiful this morning...60 degrees. Wonder if it will be sunny all day afterall or even be a beach day. Im glad there are professional forecasters rather than weenies who hugged the most dire solutions for days on the board Looking foward to the upcoming heat. ForestHillWx
By some accounts the beaches are closed or bulldozed to prepare for the storm surge. This is a major financial hit for the shore towns. Horribly modeled storm, but one that you had to take seriously the entire time. The alternative could have been life threatening. mattinpa
Well the GFS has us cooling down to closer to average after the 4 day heat. It still may be above average for a bit after, but I am hopeful the 90s will at least be over.
