Man that would be unfortunate if that is the trend. There is nothing else that allows the kind of back and forth and learning that occurs on the best of forums. Maybe I am too much of an old at 45 to fully understand how totes awesome snap chat and the rest of the new apps are for express snark etc. , but I don't see how this kind of forum is easily replaced elsewhere. It seems many of the great contributors have started to open their own pages. And the new people coming in are not as "educated" as what has left. This site was still incredible during GB16 though.
