nw baltimore wx
Not until WxUSAF said it did I recognize that super heat days, although still miserable, are so much cleaner than 10-20 years ago. As he said, the skies are so much more blue than they used to be and the air quality so much better.

Bob Chill
Just got back from a 2 mile walk with the dog. It was actually bearable for 95ish. Thank god my hood has lots of trees. Blazing in the sun but ok in the shade. It was like a rotisserie. Lol
Eskimo Joe
Meh, dews have mixed out a few degrees lower than yesterday and there's a breeze. I've been outside since 7:00 am and it's not terrible so long as you wear sunscreen and keep hydrated. More like a typical summer day IMO.

Bob Chill
12z gfs has highs in the upper 70's low 80's and lows in the 50s and 60s for multiple days next week starting on Tues. Ens agree. It's coming. And I can't wait.

Eskimo Joe
Latest 925 analysis on SPC meso page shows a pocket of warmer, more humid air moving in from Central VA. This might help DCA and IAD spike in the next 2 hours. BWI will probably be on the outside looking in for 100 degrees. Likely we see some heat headlines tomorrow. dailylurker
It's pretty cloudy here. I even had a 1 minute downpour about 15 minutes ago. Doesn't feel nearly as bad as yesterday in my backyard. The sun is coming out now so maybe we torch for a short time.
Eskimo Joe
Doubtful IAD hit 100, they dropped to 95. BWI *might* do it.

dailylurker
Hopefully that line of storms in Western, Md can make its way down here this evening. We need some rain. The temp did spike to 96 here around 4pm.

The little mid level disturbance rippling along the edge of the Bermuda High looks to move into the Ridge & Valley section of PA.
Eskimo Joe
If you look at the surface moisture convergence on the SPC meso page, there's some decent low level convergence along mason-dixon. Wouldn't be surprised if mappy get slammed after sunset. There are some huge towers shooting up here in York County, PA.

dailylurker
I guess I'll break out the hose and water the garden. I could see some beautifully structured storms way off to my SW about an hour ago. It had a really cool anvil. I'm at home in the woods now. I can't see anything but trees. Jungle conditions.
