.45"

What if it was winter and the ECM was predicting 24"+

Euro was horrid 12 hours out-had 3-5 inches of rain and PWATS of 3.5 inches....the latter part should have been the clue that the model was out to lunch this go around.

.53 here it was a huge bust by models and mets...how can we trust this weekends forecast which is sketchy on whats going to happen

Meanwhile today is sunny and beautiful

Most of the models had the rain gone by noon so the afternoon was always supposed to be dry. Its overcast and muggy here, not exactly a nice day to be outside

Came up with about .7" here.  Not as much as predicted, but not necessarily a huge bust locally.  NYC area got around an inch, I believe.

The good news is that the local drought conditions have been erased by recent rains.  Everything around here is a healthy green.  As long as you don't mind high dew points.
