Animal
Whole lot of nothing so so far in highland lakes. Really comical that the forecast was so wrong in my area. Shakes my head.

Morris
At around 4:45 am there was a pink radar echo over my house. I don't remember anything like that. It was the loudest rain I ever heard. Woke me up.

bluewave
Looks like the heavy convection to our SW yesterday afternoon with the severe watch box was part of the low and best moisture getting pulled further south than forecast.

Cfa
Spent my entire commute under the heavy rain moving across Long Island, very treacherous. And to think this could've been avoided had I left 5-10 mins earlier.
Brian5671
Pretty big model fail from 12-18 hrs out. RGEM did the best with its well south solution. Convective feedback from the euro with it's 3.5 PWATS? Not sure. The convection to the south likely either robbed the moisture for later and/or forced the low further south and east. - with that said, .4 here and looks like most got a drink which was well needed. Another shot of rains Sun/Mon.

Morris
The month is already well above average in the rain department and we still have tomorrow and Sunday to go. Last year at this time we only had two inches of rain for July.
bluewave
Another case of a southward trend this year in the last 12 hours before an event. You can see the big MCS developing well southeast over the Atlantic.
