Wow that's odd.  Usually you see that when we're all hot and the heat is coming "over the top"

it's early, but it could be crazy next week if we get a stalled front with any sort of tropical feed...some of the models are starting to show a scenario with a stalled front and some lows riding up it.

Yeah, we saw these record moisture surges recently with the warmest SST's on record off the SE Coast.

Looks like the Gulf Coast will bear the brunt of the heaviest rains this week and then we see how much 

residual moisture gets drawn further north.
