If something major finds its way to this corner of the Atlantic, we definitely won't be counting on SSTs to slow it down.

NorthShoreWx
97 here. One of the hottest days since I've lived here. Been thundering constantly for the past 90 minutes, but no dent in the heat. Sun is out, dark clouds to the north. Same as it ever was. Had a great view of a thunderhead to our west casting a shadow on higher clouds last night not long before sunset. I was too slow to go grab the camera, but this give a little feel for it. A few minutes earlier it was fantastic. Not sure if it could be related to the heat, but I saw a buck on my patio about an hour ago. Seen them nearby, but this is the first time I have spotted a deer in my yard. And the veggies were doing so well.

I don't believe I have that (unless it's the one found in the DVP2+). I set up my station for wunderground, but I think you need your weather station connected to your laptop/computer at all times, correct? If there is an easier way, let me know. pazzo83
Holy sh*t. The dewpoint at JFK is EIGHTY FOUR degrees. That's close to a national record, which I think is 85/86 somewhere in the upper MS river valley.

masomenos
Crazy. Looks like the sea breeze kicked in and brought a nice rush of juice from the bathwater off the coast with it.
