Boston was 81 at 2am with a west wind. They were 72 at 3am with an east wind.  They're sitting in the upper 60s right now while we bake.

This is one of the most impressive airmasses in my memory when one couples both the 75-80F dew points with temperatures in the mid to upper 90s. It's about as hot (feeling) as it can get around here. Many of the extreme heat pulses we had 2010-12 were remarkable with ambient temperatures, but dew points were only in the 50s or 60s. I can't recall this coupling of dews and temperatures for quite awhile.

Agree Tom but 2013 had some impressive heat/Dew points in July but this has a little more bite and staying power.  Heights look to rise again to close August into Sep...

Today should make it to the highest 4 day average dew point temperatures that I could find here.

Only 2 day 75 or greater dew point streaks at JFK that I could find...could not find any 3 day streaks..

7/25/95...76

7/26/95...76

7/18/05...75

7/19/05..75

8/10/16..75

8/11/16..76

8/12/16..75

Here are the records if you think you can remember a month with 3 days in a row or more:
