Wow lots of thunder and  lightning here. Must be from storm just to the south over Queens, maybe clipping southeastern edge of Bx by  the Throggs Neck bridge. In soundview now looks like it's raining looking at LGA, but dry here. Breaks of sun looking north

FYI, the latest weeklies indicate endless summer, which would coincide with the forecast, analogs, etc. We "cool down" to slightly above normal for the 22nd-26th period of August, before returning to above / occasionally much above weather right through late September.

Perfect, my wedding is the 27th in DC, and it's outside.  Hoping for sub-90.

I hit 98. Which I thought may be a tad high but if LGA was 97, TEB 98 then it may make sense. Unlike LGA I had no rain at all. 

The park would indicate it was a run of the mill hot day, which anyone who walked more than a block could tell it was more than that.

This kind heat wave is the worst when it comes to Park temps, too wet, daily t storms.  JFK was warmer on a south wind all day.
