bluewave
Very unusual situation where that strong 980 mb cyclone over Hudson Bay is helping to pull this deep tropical moisture feed north. This will be our second day of potentially one of the longest 75+ degree dew point streaks that we have seen around here.

So the best we did was 3 days in a row from 7/18 to 7/20. The period you listed from 8/03 only had one day with a 75+ dew point on 8/13/03. 75+ dew point days around area 7/13/13 7/14/13 7/18/13 7/19/13 7/20/13 The longest 75 degree or greater dew point streak that I could find since 1990 was 8 days in a row for JFK from 7/23/95 to 7/30/95. So anything of 5 days or more is pretty close to the top of the list for dew point streaks. Most common is 2-3 days.

The last year during which there were 2 or more such days was 2013, when 3 days had low temperatures of 80° or above. During the current 10-year period, there has been an average of 1.1 such days per year and 5 of the last 10 years had at least one such day. Today's low temperature was just below the daily record high minimum reading of 81°, which was set in 1891 and tied in 1896. The record high minimum temperatures for 8/12 and 8/13 are as follows: 8/12: 80°, 1988 8/13: 80°, 2002 and 2005

Isotherm
The morning low was 76F here which is very impressive for my area given average lows around 64 or so. My mean minimum for August before last night was 63.0F. That will be rising significantly over the next week with low temperatures in the mid 70s every night, even for rural / suburban areas. SleetStormNJ
The humidity at this level and duration is quite unhealthy. Amazing how robust that moisture pool is down in the Gulf states. Great for gardens and vegetation however.
dWave
had a low of 81. looks like 80+ lows until sun night just barely below 80. Heat index barely dropped below 90. I assume it did at some point for a brief time.

You can see the impressive tropical moisture feed getting drawn north. https://mobile.twitter.com/StuOstro/status/763385592025604096/photo/1 The 00z LIX sounding from yesterdayafternoon showed an astoundingly high 2.78" for precip water. That is higher than some soundings observed here during past tropical cyclones.
