It's been steady rain for a few hours and I'm getting some pretty good rumbles of thunder now.  The rain is really picking up too, rivers running off my hill and down the street.  43* and pretty windy.

No wind to speak of here and its a pretty cool 39°.

Rain has increased in intensity and now 0.32" in the bucket so far.

Upton starting to bite for this weekend...

On Saturday a nearly vertically stacked low crosses the Great Lakes
Region, while another low off shore intensifies. A cold front
associated with the Great Lakes low should cross the area Saturday
night into early Sunday. With the frontal passage expect light rain
across the area with enough cold air aloft pouring in Sunday for a
little snow possibly mixing in across areas north and west of New
York City.

My holly mentions about the same. Seems they are humping the gfs model instead of the euro. They do mention the poconos could get a decent storm.
