Me, not wanting mow all the time, came up with a brilliant plan, I would mow it as low as possible so that it would A) take longer to get back to the height where it needed mowing and B ) eventually burn out so I didn't have to mow it at all. 17 years later I rue that decision as the front lawn is crap now. I'm not an anal lawn guy and would not put the money into it required to make it perfect but I would at least like it green. On the bright side though I only have to mow the front about once a month while the shady, damper back yard has to be mowed almost twice a week at the height of the growing season. This was taken a few minutes prior to that, the moon was in a perfect spot. On a normal night, I can get a super crisp shot of the moon, of course it would fail this time.
