6:25PM and the HI is STILL 110!!! 95/77 Been there since 2:25, with 2 brief dips down to 107.

Yeah this is rough even for us.....they say tomorrow is gonna be worse lol

PGV from 10:45 am to now, would have thought the bolded would have been enough to warrant excessive heat warning....guess they expect folks here to be able to deal.

LOL - can't delete the box :D HI has over performed the last couple weeks, but the temps only approach the forecast highs.

Got brushed by that line. Had a few loud rumbles and few flashes. Rain was the main thing which was welcome with open arms. It is now 80/75 now. Just shy of a tenth of an inch of rain

Right but really when we do see actual temps top 100 the heat index is usually lower since its dryer, its pretty hard to get heat indexes much over 115-118 around here. About the highest I have seen was 120-125 a few times and thats with temps around 99-100 and DP's at 80.....thankfully that happens very very rarely....although we might get close tomorrow or Thursday. The last few days have been the nastiest we have had in a long while.....sadly it doesnt look to improve much the next couple of days either. I could see the tops of the "storms" your way on my way home....

Far SW Wake county where Apex, Cary and Holly Springs all meet.  Up to 1,68" on my PWS now from this storm which is slowly moving away now

Really took a nosedive right on my doorstep.  We are getting some light to moderate rain now, as its dying out.
