Snowless in Carrollton
This is typically one of the wetter months in Georgia. Lets hope we finally get some rain to erase the drought.

sparklecity
Just like that the month changes and we get a storm. 0.68" which almost matches my total from June.
NRVwxfan.
New month but the same old bullcrap. No rain anywhere near here, and very low rain chances in the forseeable future. I have a feeling my area could outdo both 2007 and 1993 in the lack of rain.

Snowless in Carrollton
Goodness. 93 already at 1pm. Im so tempted to pack my bags and move up north and never come back.
Ser Pounce
I correct myself, the dew point at home is 80. Even walking to the mailbox is pretty brutal. It's about time for pop up storms to get here, let's see if things can somehow get a bit more steamy outside.
yotaman
Picked up .33" so far today. We were on the edge of a good sized storm. A few miles from here easily picked up over an inch or even 2.
NWNC2015
Check out the movement of the storms in the northern mountains. Looks like a line forming along the NC/VA border. Whoever gets rain will see several inches. 2-6 mph forward speed.

downeastnc
Nice and muggy out today storms popping up everywhere, plenty of instability but lapse rates are total crap so its gonna be hard to get severe levels although a few storms might hit severe limits. I agree. Most of the storms I have driven thru today have been nothing but tropical downpours. We caught the edge of one at my house around lunch time. Still managed .31" out of it.
