MegaMike
Didn't get much here in Pawtucket. That being said, Attleboro and Rehoboth were hit hard. If you live in either town and you get your power from the National Grid, you probably lost power.

lakeeffectkid383
Getting slammed in Warwick,RI. Hail, don't know how big though but it's just pounding the skylights. Hunkering down on the 1st floor with my fiancé since we have a 100+ ' tall tree that dangles over our tiny little 800SF house.

CoastalWx
Interesting event. Definitely shows you how vital moisture can be. Definitely better moisture below 850...but once the mid levels got a bit more juicy...(you could see some higher PWATS moved in), updrafts no longer choked. Also, increased shear and better lapse rates per ALB sounding. All it takes is a slight change to a better environment and boom.

Non-stop lightning with that. Clouds were lit up with frequent lightning, illuminating the northeast quarter of the night sky. Beautiful to watch. lakeeffectkid383
2nd severe warning of the night here. No damage here with the first one... Just heavy rain and brief pea sized hail. We'll see what this storm can do since it looks bigger and stronger than the last one.

OKX can see it too. this is part of why we need a denser radar net e.g. CASA radars.. the WSR88Ds do a great job. but they are sparse.. too sparse to be able to deal with a hot radar or other undetected anomalies.. wxeyeNH
Watching the storms in SNE from up here in Central NH 100 miles away. Near continuous lightning show. Counted 100 flashes per minute. Looking north another 100 flashes per minute from the cells in N NY/VT. With 2 distinct areas of heavy thunderstorms north and south and clear skies around me this is probably the most lightning I have ever seen per minute.
