Morris
The BCDF did a lot more than I expected. It turned Friday in the park to perfectly N, in what was supposed to be well AN, and it was followed by 4 days BN Sat.-Tue.

NortheastPAWx
On the 00Z Euro and GFS say goodbye to any long duration big heat. Looks like big Eastern trough signal emerging around 7/20-7/25. The pattern is not changing at all here. The CFS still looks cool for August. What I think will be the big story is a remote risk of a direct hurricane impact later down the road with the persistent trough just west of the area. Tall tees to the knees for some in urban centers like Chicago, Philly, DC and NYC. Let's not also forget those baggy shorts!!! "Wear light loose fitting clothing." WeatherFeen2000
GFS 18z just shunted the heat for good and just basically has average temps with back door cold fronts! Edit: I just looked at the euro and it looks like it shows a cooler picture than past runs it had. I think summer is done as far as 100's are getting but we may see some 95 or even 97 but I think the it's not really gonna get hotter than the past 1 month or so. Summer is done! bluewave
Looks like we start warming today and tomorrow but there will be a good sea breeze across Long Island with a S to SSE flow. Winds become more SW on Friday with the next chance of 95 or greater for local hotspots like Newark.

RUMG11
Has anyone here been following this Phytoplankton bloom off of the Southern Jersey shore? It's been quite incredible to see down here. Someone smarter then me chime in... will this rain storm hurt/help the bloom maintain itself?
