Hoosier
Rained for about 30 minutes, but didn't get nearly as much as areas JUST south and up north around Chicago.
Geos
Received one quick shower today, which amounted to nothing. Stayed largely cloudy all day.
UMB WX
rough times for Caledonia and UGN. Winter will be full of cutters, hopefully we're on the good side more than not like 07/
Chinook
North Toledo and southern Monroe County got over 2" of rain late last night. It was pretty localized.
Geos
rough times for Caledonia and UGN. Winter will be full of cutters, hopefully we're on the good side more than not like 07/08 Yeah this is almost as boring as 2012. Dew points down in the mid 50s now. That is one thing that the summer has given us, comfortable air for the most part.

Powerball
Going to be ticked if there wasn't a classic intra-hour bump. Agreed. We would essentially be jipped out of a official 3-day 90*F+ heatwave (2 90*F+ days surrounded by a pair of 89*F)
Stebo
Going to be ticked if there wasn't a classic intra-hour bump. There probably was especially given the sky conditions not being fully overcast.

michsnowfreak
Got 0.62" in the overnight storms, and another 0.32" in the evening storm which included very strong wind and pea sized hail. Lots of big trees down in the general area.
hlcater
There probably was especially given the sky conditions not being fully overcast. I saw 90*F at DTW at about 4:25 on a GR placefile if that counts

We would essentially be jipped out of a official 3-day 90*F+ heatwave (2 90*F+ days surrounded by a pair of 89*F) No heatwave at DTW, only 89 today. To be fair though..DET didn't hit 90 at all this week.

Stebo
Ugh what a terrible day to go.Honestly looking at the matchups, I don't see any favorable one. Odds are in favor of the Jays brooming us.
Chambana
Corn looks incredible, I've never seen corn tasseled this early in the season, if the farmers get a dry stretch in late August/early September, no doubt it could be a very early harvest. Weekend looks top shelf, it's absolutely amazing outside, taking a walk at the park with little dude, fire up the grill later and drink some coldies. Half way through met summer next week, unreal. Fall thread will be started soon!
Hoosier
Looks like ridging really tries to build in the extended. Going to have to watch the trends and see if it gets blunted over time/convection plays spoiler. If not, it could get pretty hot.
