Brian5671
12z Euro has nothing. 12z CMC (yeah I know, it's the CMC) is also well south.
NJwx85
The Euro basically has nothing. It weakens the MCS out West and everything more or less falls apart. Meh.
NJwx85
12z CMC (yeah I know, it's the CMC) is also well south. The GGEM and the Euro are not even in the same zip code. The GGEM keeps the MCS strong all the way to the coast. It's just South.

ForestHillWx
You could see it this morning. There was no room for the storm to come north. The confluence pressing down is impressive.
NJwx85
You could see it this morning. There was no room for the storm to come north. The confluence pressing down is impressive. The 18z NAM likes the secondary threat to develop over Northern PA during the afternoon and then move towards the coast during the evening. It's better than nothing. This run get around 1250 J/KG of SBCAPE into western areas.
NJwx85
DC proper gets screwed on the NAM by the early morning MCS as the best severe stays West into VA. They really need our area to get into the heavy rain so that they can get into the more unstable airmass.

winterwx21
18z RGEM came a tick north, and just gets the northern edge of the rain up into NYC. This is still a close call, but knowing the seasonal trend I'm guessing the rain will miss to the south.
