Eskimo Joe
Last few scan in the LWX velocity data appear to show two mini bowing segments near Hagerstown / Thurmont. Going to be a few impressive wind reports from this.
Kmlwx
Annapolis Derecho 2016. ENH is the new MOD. As much as I know your post was joking I do think having ENH be a category now will make it tougher to get a mod risk from here on out. SPC I feel like is more likely to stick an ENH on it since they have an entirely new category.
snowfan
Would be nice to see some structure around here for once. I'm ok with a massive shelf as well.

It reserves the MOD/HIGH risk days for when it's truly needed, especially in the denser population centers.

Kmlwx
They just changed VCP From 32 -> 12 ->212. Ah - that's probably what did it. The most recent 2 scans I've gotten are complete again. Thx!

Kmlwx
Warning text has Howard and MoCo in the new warning but it appears to be a TINY sliver. I hate when they do that because it triggers things like AlertMontgomery and the bots on Twitter.

There's been a few times over the last year or two that I can remember getting a text from the system even though it was like 1/1000th of the county included. Though I guess today could be safe since eventually the county is bound to be warned
