Based off surface obs, the warm front might have nudge west by about 10-20 miles and is somewhere between US-15 and I-81.  All the winds have shifted to the SE in DC Metro and the temps have fallen by about 5-9 degrees.  Still very intense dews so the heavy rain threat is there.  Probably waning severe threat with each minute though.

I shouldn't have gotten dragged into the severe aspect of this event. Hopefully the heavy rain performs. Of course we'll probably see the usual idiot drivers go through a completely inundated road.

Is it too early to say bust for MD? Warm front didn't make it far enough north. It's like we never learn since that always seems to happen.

I'm not even seeing the heavy rain threat at this point. Is it going to suddenly blow up when the line gets close? The current area of precip isn't even that large and the line is going to go south of us.
