CoastalWx
Best chance is probably over srn areas today. However, might be another finger of convection in deformation zone that may need to be watched further north.

CT Valley Snowman
Potent shortwave approaching the region with very cold air aloft leading to numerous showers and storms this afternoon. Some storms could produce gusty winds and small hail. Best forcing, lift, convergence appear to set up south of the Pike closer to the track of the system. CT Valley Snowman
There will be a few decent low topped storms, especially southern zones. Yesterday certainly wasn't a big deal for most and we have had cold pool hailer threads in the past.
weatherwiz
There will be some small hailers around today...won't take much for anything to drop small hail. I could see marginally severe hail in SW CT
CT Valley Snowman
The title "Wednesday Frenzy" was more about writing something clever that sort of rhymes instead of just putting a basic boring title, more of a sarcastic thing than anything else. Damage In Tolland
Any storms look like far SW Ct south to NYC and NJ. If N CT is lucky we miss out on most of the rain so it doesn't ruin evening activities..though that's very debatable Lots of dry air at surface..so it's conceivable bark worse than bite on radar
Baroclinic Zone
Nice swirl. See if we can trigger anything in the area with any residual boundaries.

What's wrong with basic straight to topic at hand titles? Why does everything have to rhyme?
CT Valley Snowman
What's wrong with basic straight to topic at hand titles? Why does everything have to rhyme? Nothing wrong with it at all. Probably better in the long run when you going to look for a thread you will know what you are looking for, although I highly doubt this is a thread that is going to be bumped down the road. Damage In Tolland
Didn't you post yesterday that you thought today was going to be fun? Yesterday it did. One look at models this morning was all you needed to know it was wagons south of NYC
OceanStWx
Just think if this were cold season. It would be 12/09/05 all over again. Trop fold down to 550ish mb according to the 12z GFS. That's pretty much why these storms are producing the wind they are.
Sugarloaf1989
Light rain falling here at work in south Windsor. This should dampen the ground enough to keep the dust storms at bay.

CT Valley Snowman
That was an pretty impressive line of storms that formed in southern Connecticut. I was working in North Madison watching it form and then drove through it on my way to East Hampton and timed it perfectly. Several CTG lightning strikes and pounding hail for a few minutes. As for the rest of the region, pretty meh.
