wxeyeNH
So much heat and humidity in New England and a cold front to the west but not one thunderstorm that I see..... Brian, this board is running so slowly for me that its almost useless. As a moderator do you know what's going on with the upgrade? If a real weather event were to happen I'm afraid the board would come to a halt. Who takes care of the upgrades or can give us some new info? Thanks! The slowdowns have nothing to do with the server. We have some kind of hangups I think with some of Allan's scripts on the model side of things. That's what John was investigating last I heard. They're definitely annoying though. I feel like we have too much tied in with the forum software personally. John does his best and does a damn good job with it, but it can be difficult trying to integrate all aspects of the site together.

dendrite
Heh. I can hear the rain pounding up the street. Will probably get 5 mins of +RA and under a tenth. Oh well.
eekuasepinniW
Scored a nice 40 second whiteout of rain that ended with enough wind to bulldoze plants, fill the pool with chairs, and break one of our heavy duty 10+ year old pool umbrellas. Too bad it couldn't muster a single flash of lightning. 0.15" 6.06"/hr rain rate 35mph estimated gust

I mean I could almost reach out and grab the rain shafts to my north and south...they were that close.

tamarack
Watered the newly planted flowers a 2nd time. Maybe that's why we got more rain last evening than Fri-Sat combined - 0.03" vs 0.02".
wxeyeNH
Seems like you Maine guys missed out too. I looked at the radar mid evening and noticed that convection blew up just east of me. Didn't look after that but I thought it might continue to expand and at least give parts of Maine a drink. Guess that was very limited. 0.00" for me yesterday. Month total remains about 2". June was 2.68" but 1.75" of that was on one day, June 10th. Last nights Euro run gives us all 1-3" for the end of the week/weekend. GFS is south. Really want to get that moisture up here. Some towns are fine others bone dry. I'm sure the corn crop needs a good day long soak.

A lot of stations in VT that are in the 5-6.7" range for the month...backedgeapproaching continues to lead with 6.70" (c'mon man, you got this with only a few days to go!). As a whole, the state of VT seems to be doing fine with water this month looking at the totals, averaging at least an inch per week at more than half the stations. Winter monthly snowfall on CoCoRaHS I have no chance with the weenie stations in NVT-- JSpin, Underhill, Cabot, etc.

LOL none the less it is a winning shot and yes definitely stacked images. I was upset that night that I wasn't prepared with my camera to grab lightning shots. There was no shortage of it that is for sure.
