So much heat and humidity in New England and a cold front to the west but not one thunderstorm that I see.....

Brian,  this board is running so slowly for me that its almost useless.  As a moderator do you know what's going on with the upgrade?  If a real weather event were to happen I'm afraid the board would come to a halt.  Who takes care of the upgrades or can give us some new info?  Thanks!

The slowdowns have nothing to do with the server. We have some kind of hangups I think with some of Allan's scripts on the model side of things. That's what John was investigating last I heard. They're definitely annoying though. I feel like we have too much tied in with the forum software personally. John does his best and does a damn good job with it, but it can be difficult trying to integrate all aspects of the site together.

That's probably a warm PWS, think it was 98F/106HI at BWI last OB. Not that it matters, because that is just awful heat whether its 104 or 98

Nice OB below in MD..:o HI of 121 lol.  Not sure if that 84F dew is right or not?

MARTIN STATE   MOSUNNY   93  84  75 SE14      29.88F HX 121

I figured it was a DIT of MD posting that ob. It sure is fooking hot for this NNE'r. I'm bring in my hotel room right now lol.

Oh. I thought I had a pretty good idea where you are on radar, but I guess not.  It looked like a good hit for you.

Maybe some drift under the beam? idk

I usually look around 2 pixels south of the county line and factor in H85-H92 wind from there. I mean I could almost reach out and grab the rain shafts to my north and south...they were that close.

Seems like you Maine guys missed out too.   I looked at the radar mid evening and noticed that convection blew up just east of me.  Didn't look after that but I thought it might continue to expand and at least give parts of Maine a drink.  Guess that was very limited.

0.00" for me yesterday.  Month total remains about 2".  June was 2.68"  but 1.75" of that was on one day,  June 10th.

Last nights Euro run gives us all 1-3" for the end of the week/weekend.  GFS is south.  Really want to get that moisture up here.  Some towns are fine others bone dry.  I'm sure the corn crop needs a good day long soak.

Been on the wrong end of convection the whole summer Gene

I just tallied up and I'm at 4.38" since July 1st...and that puts me pretty much middle of the pack compared to the 60 state-wide CoCoRAHS stations.

A lot of stations in VT that are in the 5-6.7" range for the month...backedgeapproaching continues to lead with 6.70" (c'mon man, you got this with only a few days to go!).

As a whole, the state of VT seems to be doing fine with water this month looking at the totals, averaging at least an inch per week at more than half the stations.

Let's hope that pattern holds up for winter!

lol...one thing is for sure, warm season/rainfall is the only way I could have a chance at leading the pack. Winter monthly snowfall on CoCoRaHS I have no chance with the weenie stations in NVT-- JSpin, Underhill, Cabot, etc.

Nice pic, but even eyewall thinks that image is over edited. ;)

I plagerized and made it look more like art.  Why not go all the way for the fun of it!  Top picture is my retouched version and the bottom is the photographers.  Toned down the state house and brightened the lightning.

LOL none the less it is a winning shot and yes definitely stacked images. I was upset that night that I wasn't prepared with my camera to grab lightning shots. There was no shortage of it that is for sure.
