59,000 Eversource customers are without power in NH.  Currently 38% of Northfield is in the dark.

Just 2 customers in Laconia are in the dark.

It did get very windy here, but nothing unusal.  Bummer the storm withheld its lightning until after it passed.

Easily a top 5 sunset of the year still in progress.  I have another time lapse running, but didn't realize the window fogged up so I have no idea how much I got yet.

The last 4 days in the CON area from ASOS/HADS/RAWS sites...

KCON - Concord Airport: 89/97/95/89

NCHN3 - Suncook River: 87/93/89/87

SOUN3 - Soucook River: 87/95/91/86

BERN3 - Bear Brook: 88/94/93/85

PTFN3 - Pittsfield Mill: 86/92/88/82

COTN3 - Contoocook River: 85/92/90/85

And then up here...

KLCI - Laconia Airport: 84/91/85/82

WEIN3 - Weirs Beach: 85/93/87/83

SLVN3 - Silver Lake: 87/92/87/85

LKWN3 - Lake Winnisquam: 85/92/87/83

FFDN3 - Franklin Falls Dam: 87/92/91/84

TLTN3 - Winnipesaukee River: 84/90/87/83

C7324 - Northfield (me): 82/89/86/81

Pretty easy win for CON each day.

As promised early...my avg highs for July compared to CON going back to 2007...

Year Me CON Diff

2007 77.7 80.9 -3.2

2008 79.5 82.8 -3.3

2009 74.2 76.7 -2.5

2010 83.1 87.4 -4.3

2011 81.5 85.3 -3.8

2012 81.0 84.8 -3.8

2013 80.8 84.2 -3.4

2014 78.9 82.3 -3.4

2015 78.6 83.4 -4.8

2016 79.4 85.3 -5.9

Something has changed in the last couple of years and I don't think it's me. CON used to be more in line with its local HADS sites and I'm still running a little under TLTN3 (Winni River at Tilton) just like I always have.

And CON consistently beating MHT/ASH this time of year used to never happen...

7/21 - CON 89 / MHT 88 / ASH 88

7/22 - CON 97 / MHT 96 / ASH 94

7/23 - ASH 96 / CON 95 / MHT 94

7/24 - CON 89 / MHT 89 / ASH 89

Dendrite, where is LKWN3 site on the lake?

I'm pretty sure it's right off the bridge there on rt3...that area between Pirate's Cove mini golf and the train tracks/Agway. I'm assuming you're familiar with that area.

Looks like .33" in the gauge looking yesterday evening after being gone since Thursday. 6.70" MTD.

Pretty much all CoCoRaHS stations in VT are between 3-7" for the month.  Haven't quite hit 90F yet this spring/summer, 89F is the max so far. (DDH has hit 90F twice though I think)

Convective season is such a fickle beast, drove down to SePA and it funny noticing the spots hit by convection and those not, you can have pretty lush green and crispy brown with 5-10 miles of each other. Although there was much more brown than green in most areas along the way.

Yesterday's showers "dumped" another 0.01", so two days of TS/svr possibilities came to 0.02" precip.  This week looks to offer numerous chances, but seeing is believing.

Been swinging and missing on all these threats here, Most have gone south of here

We'll see what tonight brings for showers. Picked up 0.61" friday night. Anyone else having issues with board being super slow on either tapatalk or web based version on phone? I assume there are still some glitches.

I have issues at times with the board loading both on a PC and the web based version on my phone.  It seems to happen a little less often but it still can be an issue.

Or between us.  While driving to a 6 PM wedding in Fayette, encountered two bucket trucks with folks repairing utility lines where trees had fallen.  Also, lots of water-filled potholes on Echo Lake Road.

It was "interesting" reading about Friday evening's wonderful light show at points south, after having stood watching on my lawn and feeding the mosquitos, and not seeing a flicker.

Heading to Baltimore for the week for work. Not looking forward to 95-100 temps. I am looking forward to my first trip to Camden Yards.

Looks like my plane will leave BTV just ahead of that line coming through the Adirondacks. Hopefully the DNC in PHL doesn't cause any issues for my transfer to BWI.

The clouds and my being 40 miles farther from the action (and maybe also the skeeters) canceled the show for me.

Those skeeters end multiple activities on a regular basis, They were a little late getting around this year

That's probably a warm PWS, think it was 98F/106HI at BWI last OB. Not that it matters, because that is just awful heat whether its 104 or 98

Nice OB below in MD..:o HI of 121 lol.  Not sure if that 84F dew is right or not?
