CON 95F

MHT 93F

ASH 93F

I still think CON has been running too warm for whatever reason. Usually they'd be 91/92F right now given those ASH/MHT temps. My station is running about 6F below them for the average high this month...that's the largest spread I've ever had with them. Typically in July I average about 3-4F cooler on highs. My spread has been increasing with them for about a year and a half now. I'll look at the data again when I get home and post some of it.

i don't know man, i had an appointment in manchester this afternoon, car thermo read between 97-99 the whole way up the highway. i realize that highway is hotter, as is car thermo. but i almost think MHT and ASH are a little low there. this was at 3:30 today

Pretty much a non-stop strobe light to the north right now...flashes are continuous.

Been non-stop lightning for the last hour or so here. Sat on the new porch and watched it advance from the "heat lightning" stage to full on storm with downpour now. Had more than enough warning to go around and close all the windows. Time to turn on the AC to make sure the dog doesn't freak out.

Shot another blank yesterday,  0.00".   Month remains at 1.38".   Did see a spectacular light show with well over 100 flashes per minute.  From my hilltop at one point I could see near continuous lightning with the line up over extreme NNE and then turn to the south and see near continuous lightning over Mass/RI.  Looking due east the cell was really going good on the Maine coast too.  Usually with a lightning show its from one line but to see 2 lines going off to the north and south was impressive.

Climate is going to get even with me in one of these events and I'm going to get slammed.  Almost like pressure building up for an earthquake.  Can't keep missing event after event.  Hoping to score later today!

Yeah that's a bit crazy. We've had 3.34 since I've installed the weather station on the 14th... But I guess that's the way thunderstorms go

Alex,  finally got some rain.  Thunderstorm developed overhead past 30 minutes.  Just ended and gave me .33".  Temp down to 71.5F and sun coming back out.  Will be watching the big area of convection just coming in from Canada.  Meanwhile lots of showers/storms for the Whites.  You keep adding to your 3.34".

Meh. Everything north again. I only get the rain when I'm not here. Lots of thunder with that cell north of me.

Brian,  do you think that whole complex makes it this far SE or does it move SE and then when it gets to our latitude it starts moving more east.  That thundershower that finally gave me something has raised my dew to 73F with the bright sun.

Yeah another 0.34 so far. Though I wish we could send some of this South. My house in Mass desperately need some water. I'm AirBnB'ing so I don't want the yard to look too awful.

I'm in No. Conway at the moment and it's quite flooded

Quite a line of storms heading south.  Looks to get most of us.  Long term Euro shows quite a bit of rain next weekend but that is along way away.  Looks like our turn for this line, SNE may miss out.   Friend of mine was on the north part of Newfound Lake and caught a picture of the thundershower that moved right over me giving me 1/3" of quick rain.

First try at super smooth time lapse. Sad how the sun already sets behind the pines again.

Neat how that tower collapses at :16

Nice time lapse and nice spot you have there.  You can actually get even more smoothness, Youtube will support 1080p 60fps so you could get 2x the frames in there.

Nice. Is that the one over Barnstead now giving my coworker peas and dimes?

No, Barnstead is to my south.

Medium level of angst now developing with the appearance of some purple pixels coming in my general direction.  Probably not going to get anything... broken lines always look pretty but always fail.  Sky is pretty dark.
