I still am wearing sleeveless and shorts to work so no

Maybe tomorrow back to short sleeves and shorts...there will be no rain to worry about. See 70s for Sunday and I will wager we have a few 80 degree days to deal with in October

How are those 70's looking for Sunday ?

Didn't sleep last night because I was focused too much on the models and my jet lag from Guatemala. Not making the same mistake tonight with a 5 day storm. Took a sleeping pill and will wake up just in time for a bowl of cereal and the 6Z NAM. Lol.

0-2 with tropical systems this year for the northeast

3 strikes and you are out?

Maybe there will be 1 more threat

If this not normal. I don't recall many tropical storms impacting the area.

Every few years, we get rains from the storms when and if they hit the south.

I am interested in seeing some data on tropical events that impacted the metro area.

Ah, you know, just your garden variety showers and storms potentially producing category 4-strength wind gusts. (Daytona Beach forecast)

Hurricane conditions expected. Periods of showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. High near 84. North northeast wind 60 to 80 mph becoming north 90 to 110 mph. Winds could gust as high as 135 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.
