Radtechwxman
Is it just me or did that disturbance in the 4-corners today like remain nearly stationary all day? I was under the impression it was going to progress more east. Anyone thinking Fri could be the big day instead?

jojo762
Those two storms near DDC are somewhat discrete, at least for the time being--one is already TOR warned, might be two storms to watch as LLJ starts cranking soon.

andyhb
Wondering if the slow ejection of the upper trough today makes tomorrow the bigger day, thinking back to 5/8 here.
Radtechwxman
Yea pretty much what I was stating earlier. That upper low really only nudged east. The due northerly storm motions were a killer. Right turns were hard to get along boundaries. Wonder if the ridge was more prevalent than models thought

jojo762
My backyard is under at least an inch of water. Just planted my pepper plants too... yeah I'm in emporia right now, and streets are pretty well flooded, had periodic heavy rain throughout the afternoon, believe there was two occassions that's saw heavy rain for ~15-20min each... Then the last hour has been pouring. With cells training right now as well, and another couple rounds to come. All this is on top of the several large MCSs they have gotten here the last few days.
