Im near the border between the medium and dark blue in far NE Richland Co. Had a few bursts of heavy rain this am.

Glad someone is cashing in just a tad  :)      MBY held steady at 15 drops, CAE had .02 while CUB recorded .31.....................stoopid portals :angry:  :(

Ahh yes.... the good old Deep South and Gulf convection....

 

QPF will continue to be a tough call given the complexity of theevolving storm and the hybrid CAD over inland areas. Not to mentionthe deep south/Gulf coast convection potential.

This was a post from November obs. (http://www.americanwx.com/bb/index.php/topic/47152-november-observation-thread/page-4#entry3747849) that i remember feeling rather important, as though this type of pattern, in general, might stay for a while.  Looking outside today and seeing the consistent flow from the northeast of mist and clouds is very surprising.
