Areas south and west of NYC in NJ may try to make a run on 80 again by next week. But the strong

onshore flow will continue for Long Island which will have cooling sea breezes.

Nice, I think, or at least hope, that 70s will be here by Saturday. Until then, it looks pretty terrible by May standards.

Short range models like the HRRR and RGEM have the entire area clearing by 4pm and temps sky rocket to the 60s and low 70s for most.

sweet.  Would be nice to see the sun. Going to have to hurry though-cloud deck still locked in down to SW of Philly....  Could see a repeat tomorrow with AM rain/damp and then drier as the day wears on.

Edit-brightening here, so maybe the deck just thins out

euro is also .5+ tomorrow. every global model shows that much... let's see if it doesn't vaporize

Had .10 here after models showed .50-.75 yesterday.    Some of the models show us on the northern edge of the next batch so quite possible NYC and points north get the el skunko again.

Yeah. Cloud deck is trying to break up here as well and things are getting brighter.

It would be nice to see NYC finally break the .5 barrier since the only time NYC did it since Feb 25th was Apr 3-4.

every model has that and some have closer to 2 inches south of NYC....does look a bit convective, so I could see some areas getting skunked.   RGEM has it in and out, but still dumps good rains
