Hoosier
My pasty white legs are now a little red after a day on the boat. Deep tan here. Probably should use sunscreen but I like to get some sun as certain illnesses related to vitamin d deficiency run in my family.
hawkeye_wx
We're getting the best light show of the season this evening. I didn't get a drop out of it, but it was fun watching all the cloud to cloud streaking within a couple cells to my nw.

I didn't get a drop out of it, but it was fun watching all the cloud to cloud streaking within a couple cells to my nw. Nice. You've had quite a bit of entertaining weather up there lately. Been very benign down here. Glad to be leaving the area for awhile starting tomorrow. This time tomorrow night should be in Cheyenne or Laramie Wyoming. IWXwx
I'm going to wind up with 3.28" in my CoCoRaHS gauge for May (Normal for FWA 4.25"). All but 0.22" fell in the first two weeks of the month. We could use some rain.
Powerball
The NAM at least is forecasting that a Pneumonia front from Lake Huron will move through this evening, dropped temps from the low 80s to the upper 50s. We'll see.

Chambana
Nice pics everyone. Been some isolated cells within the area, actually seems things have dried out lately, some rain would be welcome. Nice rebound on temp departures that's for sure. Just hard to fathom met summer starts tomorrow. For SNG I read the winter 13-14 general discussion thread earlier, kinda fun reading everyone punt that winter way back in October, little did we know after the historic tornado outbreak that winter showed us no mercy. June looks below average on CFS. Kinda want a warm summer. Last 3 have been very wet.
Geos
Didn't reach above normal territory until yesterday here. Will end up with about a +0.4° departure with over 4" of rain.

I would guess we Will NEVER see a winter like that again here.
Jonger
2013-2014 was the best winter in the great lakes since..... well, maybe ever. Top snowfall of all time. 69/90 days below freezing. Tough to beat that.
harrisale
Somehow missed all the rain so far. Same, only 1.65" of precip here in May. Been a dry spring and stressing some of our winter wheat tests into early heading.
osubrett2
The lakes must have been not as cold mid month as the OV. Even with CMH ending May with 8 straight days above 80F, monthly May departure is -2F.

hawkeye_wx
The action during this pattern has been bubbly and hit-and-miss. I didn't get much tonight. I hope the next active pattern will bring more shear with it. I did get enough rain during this pattern to boost my May total to 3.47", only slightly below avg. A guy one county to my south was hit repeatedly and received 7.40" in May. I'm not sure what cyclone's May total is, but he didn't get squat out of this pattern. Only picked up 0.01" rain here today. 1-2" fell 15-20 miles to the east. Was expecting to be in Wyoming tonight, but decided not to head out west.
