SchaumburgStormer
Lots of things firing around me today. Missed to the north twice, and another cell just skirted south and is headed towards the city. Not much of an event here, definitely would have preferred initiation to have occurred much further west into DVN's area
wisconsinwx
I'm surprised they didn't have a watch out in SW Lower Michigan, it's just a tad after sunset and many of the storms strengthened over Lake Michigan.
Hoosier
Bit of a captain obvious post here but not liking my chances.

Very disappointing after following it for days. Oh well, it was fun to forecast at least.

Yeah the one near Dowagiac has some pretty decent rotation with it, probably has hail bigger than quarters with that type of mid level circulation. Geos
The lightning show to the south in incredible. Just sat outside for 10+ minutes and watched. Alek looks to be in a prime spot this evening. Lightning flashing in the clouds, out the tops and sides.
HillsdaleMIWeather
Storm's back near Chicago are intensifying, people could get two rounds maybe in places. Surprised by the lack of a watch though.

You'll have fun with that. Lightning photography can be extremely rewarding to be sure. I'm blaming today's bust on the new vehicle lol. First time out in it. All joking aside it was a nice little outing to test out a few new gadgets I picked up.

HillsdaleMIWeather
Just got hit by almost explosive high winds out of the blue, didn't have my aenometer up but I'd say over 60 for around 30 seconds sustained.
stormtrackertf
Yeah, I just lost power here actually. This line means business.I'm not sure if winds hit warning criteria or not, but it looks like my whole area is without power now. Crazy thunder and lightning too. I hate to break it to you, but if you are in the area around Telegraph and Van Born, they lose power if a bird farts. I don't know what it is about that area but they constantly lose power in storms. A-L-E-K
got to see a lot of nice anvils over the lake and had a weak cell roll through later in the evening pretty tame overall and the lack of forcing hurt

hlcater
MCS still looks healthy just west of STL. Looks like it could still go for a few more hours, that watch reflects this potential.
