hlcater
Rotation is currently pretty broad, but could reintensify any time. If it does, its increasingly likely a town will be in its path as it slides up I-44 toward OKC.
NorthArlington101
Mike Morgan'isms spreading. Not to bring up the debate again, but I'd rather these forecasters talk about the worst-case scenario so people listen to the warnings. David Payne is doing a pretty good job right now I think. Someone already mentioned it, but this is a really impressive storm given its linear nature.
WishingForWarmWeather
Mike Morgan'isms spreading. To be fair, because the person posting did not include all of the information, he was discussing the gate to gate velocity and he said that the numbers he was seeing (170-180) were comparable to higher end tornados. SmokeEater
Mike Morgan'isms spreading. What he said was, the velocity couplet is at EF-3 strength, didn't say there was an EF-3 in there. Also TOG near Sherman, TX.
Jonbo
Impressive for something embedded in a line. Seems like the storm is trying to split off and become dominant. Going to be a really close call south of the OKC area depending on how it evolves in the next 30 minutes.

SmokeEater
OUN talking about even though the circulation is weakening, the storm is moving into better low level moisture and LCL's.

Going to be a really close call for OKC depending on how it evolves in the next 30 minutes. It will surely go south of OKC. Also, it's becoming an HP blob and tornado potential is lowering right now. SmokeEater
How do you figure? It's not going in that direction at all? It's not gonna make it to OKC, but Norman may be in trouble if it holds, its turning more north. Norman is on the north end of the TW now.

Norman is on the north end of the TW now. Yeah, I'm watching, but norman is not OKC lol. I lived in Norman/Moore for years. He was making it seem like OKC could be in danger from this storm, and it's not possible unless it stopped and went due north. It looks like very south norman, like by the high school, to noble, is about where it will come through.

hlcater
the meso is surrounded by the FFD to the NW and the RFD to the SE, it will have to pull a miracle to get out of that mess.

I lived in New Orleans, moved between Moore/Norman for a few years, to San Antonio, to where I am now, Killeen.
hlcater
Looks like that's all she wrote for this storm, rotation has weakened considerably. It could cycle, but given the strength of the RFD relative to the weak inflow, I doubt it.

andyhb
rotation may be increasing near Athens, TX (64 miles from Dallas) Yeah that has my attention. Strong low level shear closer to the primary LLJ axis and it looks like that cell is becoming dominant with echo tops over 55k ft from KSHV. Looks like it may come close to Tyler as well, the entire I-20 corridor in E TX is heavily populated.
