dilly84
Miller B. This could actually be good for many of us. There have been plenty of miller b's that has hammered parts of the MW/OV/and EC PD2 for example.
Chicago WX
This run does give the feeling like things aren't set in stone just yet. Well probably a comment by me, but the NAM has sniffed 'em out first before...both good and bad. Let's hope it's on to something.
Thundersnow12
trending wetter a tad each of the last few runs for here..northern gradient has moved north as well up in MN and WI 18z NAM 0z NAM
hawkeye_wx
00z NAM's system appears more potent, but the heavier band in Iowa actually shrinks considerably. Most notably, the 00z greatly broadens the dark green area(0.25+")

Stevo6899
Why does the precip with the northern stream disappear? Is the energy being sucked away from the southern stream? I am assuming the block is pushing the northern stream south and weakening it also?

A-L-E-K
Either way, yet another wild storm to track and it's still just december, after the boredom we suffered through from late summer on, this is a welcome change.

baroclinic_instability
Their proclaimed ringleader DT/Someguy came in TO SAVE THEM FROM ALL THE WEENIE NAM TALK BECAUSE WE DONT KNOW WHAT WE ARE TALKING ABOUT. JoMo
I would as well. Model threads are like Accuweather. You are to only hype storms up and mention the best case scenario for snow.

snowstormcanuck
Yeah it is getting a little ugly over there sometimes with some weird divisions developing. I wish we could take the attitude of some of the east coast regions. Everyone has fun with it and nobody hates on everyone else (at least for the most part). Seems that there is almost a "class/division" developing in our region. Maybe it is because I never posted on eastern and this is how it has always been, but I don't like it. I am not calling anyone out, and I have been perceived to be an a**hole sometimes as well, but seriously 99% of the time I am just trying to post and enjoy the discussion. I have no ill-intent when I get into a discussion, even if it seems to get "heated" at times. Now you know better.
