The Iceman
Widespread 1-3" accumulations... Max total of 5 inches. Pretty in line what I thought going into the event. Sucks I didn't even see a snow flake though.
iceman56
Saw that 5" in Malvern and was skeptical until I saw the 4.7" in Wayne. I drove through Malvern Sat. afternoon there was maybe an inch, but the snow was so heavy it looked like dense fog - visibility was < 1/10 of a mile. That must have sat over them and really dumped in the next 2 hours as the snow ended between 3 and 4 p.m.

If it would have acculummated I think it could have over performed. My most impressive white rain event.

RedSky
Curious why after the freeze this morning and high pressure overhead tonight no free warning again and a low forecast of 35F? Must be a frontal boundary or atmospheric feature expected to keep the temps up.

RedSky
Weather World had some good news for the heat haters next 30 days NW flow dominates with little high heat. Even if the summer is a torrid one at least it won't be extra long.

iceman56
31.6 with another frosty morning in NW Chesco. Banana shelter stays about 40 at night without supplemental heat these days due to warmer soil and then soars to 95-100 in the afternoon with the sunshine. Should be able to remove the shelter soon and let the trees soak up the sun.

Redmorninglight
Frosty last 2 mornings here. Light ENE winds making for crisp weather. I like the low humidity too. Feels more like late October. Good weather to finally finish splitting next winters wood. I burned over a cord less this past winter than 2014-15.

Chief83
Red Flags up for the entire area. I know there are several firefighters on the forum. You are probably aware of this, but with no snow to talk about this might be of interest. Flags go from MD to southern New England.

RedSky
Cut the lawn for first time today. Only about 25% grass growing with weeds and onion grass mixed in and at times I made dust clouds the dryness is off the charts for April.
JTA66
Got my first mow in last weekend. Saw my neighbor out there yesterday, he was kicking up a lot of dust for April. Hope it's not a sign of things to come!

Birds~69
Nice little pocket of rain settled in over SE PA. Dampen up things and clean some of the pollen out of the air and clean the green crap off the car. 59.2F
iceman56
.02" to settle the dust here in NW Chesco. Another bust on the models that were showing upwards of .75" a couple days ago. Reminiscent of the some of the foot of snow storms modelled at 48 hours during the winter that wound up in the crapper.
