wederwarrior
Pretty strong looking line passing over the ridge now, hoping for some moisture to take the crackle out of my lawn
RedSky
Hope Kutztown gets something but another huge gap in the thunderstorm line over Berks that has happened all season.
ChescoWx
Heaviest of the storms went North and South of here but still picked up a nice 0.16" - MTD rain now at 2.36" (.08" below normal) YTD now at 24.68" which is still 1.99" below normal through today....bad news is of course no 90 here - topped out at 87.7 with a high heat index of 96.6 before the storm - we will be crossing the 3 year mark without a 90 here in NW Chesco - hope however springs eternal as the Wxsim posts a 96 for East Nantmeal on Saturday..... iceman56
First 90 for me in NW Chesco - 90.6. Storms were a bust with a few sprinkles, no measurable. 1.07" for the month.
Hurricane Agnes
Had an 18 degree temp drop (from a high of 93F to current 75F) after the storm rolled through with some distant thunder. Got just over 0.1" out of it. Currently light rain. Outright tropical out there. Edit @ 5:00 pm - Sun back out again. Florida-like stuff!
CoolHandMike
That storm just about destroyed New Castle. All of the traffic lights were out from New Castle on up to Hockessin on the 41. Boy, you want to see a society devolve into chaos and anarchy... Take out the traffic lights during rush hour.
BBasile
Got slammed by a 22 MPH outflow. lol It looked good, though. Other than that, picked up 0.05".
Voyager
Allentown must have gotten hit pretty hard. Friend of mine who works down there posted pics of an shipped tree in a cemetery, and other limbs down along one of the streets in the city. I am watching it shrink into a pile of clouds every mile closer it gets lol So much for my theory of wetter times mid and late month, getting happy that the bulk of the growing season is near an end

Rtd208
Must have been quite a change with the models overnight with regards to temperatures for this coming weekend. Both Mt.Holly and Upton had mid 90's on Friday and mid to upper 90's Saturday and Sunday on yesterdays afternoon zone forecast, now both they have dropped high temps to the low 90's for all three days with this mornings zone forecast. I was kind of surprised to see that to be honest since the heat for this coming weekend has really been touted the last couple of days.
