As it rained all around me after 6pm, the temps were almost 10 degrees cooler at those times than the previous days. Currently 71F but surprisingly with some low stratus and drizzle (per Mt. Hear thunder off to the west and NW. Got a few drops yesterday, so some rain will be welcome....we'll see what happens with the other features! KamuSnow Posted July 9, 2016 Share Posted July 9, 2016 Lots of thunder and lightning which seemed to lessen as it got close....not too much wind, a little hail (1/2" and less), and 0.90" of rain, most of it in about 30 minutes. Hurricane Agnes Posted July 9, 2016 Share Posted July 9, 2016 The sun finally popped out briefly here about 20 minutes ago. Haven't even hit 80F (am at my high of 77 so far right now). Seeing a thin NE/SW line rolling this way from west of here, but since it is so marine-layer coolish here, I doubt that it will survive intact in this area, but maybe I'll be wrong. Pattern looks better going forward from middle of next week for more numerous shower activity I dare guess the drought could be fading soon. Had tried getting on earlier to report rain rain rain (now almost all day today) after I broke down and watered some plants this morning... and saw the board down and figured - today is the day! In now and hoping the final upgrade will be successful! Very different look/feel. Current OBS Rain, temp 75F, winds calm and pretty damn juicy and tropical out there.
